Somerset alert… on Saturday 20 May (at a free event) you can hear not just one, but TWO world premieres of music commissioned to mark the 1700th year since the birth of St Martin of Tours. Reg Meuross will be performing a freshly written ballad about the life of St Martin, and the Cantata Choir will perform Cantata St Martin, written by Ronald Corp. Not only this, but also dancing from Enigma Morris, poetry, a brass band, all happening between 6.30 and 7.30pm in the church of St Martin in Kingsbury Episcopi, Somerset.
