I love the story about her optimistic father’s game of ‘Milk Roulette’, I cry listening to the songs about IVF and the baby that was Born Yesterday (it really does ‘turn my heart into butter in the sun’. 3 A Penny is a brilliant round up of the issues facing musicians in today’s music industry. So tonight I’m looking forward to hearing the songs, and I’m mostly excited to finally be hearing them delivered live, with Charlie’s exquisitely delicate vocal, and her clever wit telling us more about the back stories, and that magical on stage chemistry with Julian Littman & Gareth Huw Davies.
