Fresh from raising the tent roof at Suffolk’s FolkEast Festival, Charlie Dore kicks off her Autumn tour with a return to the John Peel Centre, with one-man symphony orchestra Julian Littman, of Steeleye Span, and mighty backing from the Rabble Chorus. Stand by for even more eclectic ‘parlour folk’ as the indefatigable pair rifle through their personal music-shop of guitars, harmonium, autoharp, piano, mandolin, harmonica & ukulele as they continue the Milk Roulette tour Part 3.
The album has collected 4 star reviews from Mojo, The Guardian and The Telegraph and also featured in the Telegraph’s Best Folk Albums 2014.
This show marks the duo’s 5th outing with the choir on board, and although Charlie has added several new songs to repertoire, they still relish new version of the favourites, including Pilot of the Airwaves.
